oin us for a 4 week long ceramics class at beautiful Angels Gate Cultural Center overlooking Point Fermin! Through various projects, students will explore slab and coil-building using a variety of templates and molds, while incorporating exciting design elements with texture and color. Working with mid-range clay, emphasis will be on bright colors and playful design using underglaze

tehcniques such as transfers, stencils, resists, sgraffito, and mishima.

Suitable for beginners to advanced makers.

Dates: First four Fridays in October, from 10/3 to 10/24 finished work will be picked up the following week on 10/31

Time: Fridays from 10:00am to 12:00pm

Location: Angels Gate Cultural Center, Building F

What’s Included:

- Studio equipment including basic clay tools, slab

roller, molds and templates, workspace & storage

- 25 lb bag of clay, slips, underglazes, glaze, &

firing

- 6 x 2 hour long studio sessions of instruction and

guidance while making work plus 15 min clean up
