Join me for a 5 week ceramic class at beautiful Angels Gate Cultural Center overlooking Point Fermin! Through various projects, students will explore slab and coil-building using a variety of templates and molds, while incorporating exciting design elements with texture and color. Working with mid-range clay, emphasis will be on bright colors and playful design using underglaze techniques such as transfers, stencils, resists, sgraffito, and mishima. Suitable for beginners to advanced makers.

Dates: Thursdays from 5/28 to 6/25 OR Fridays from 5/29 to 6/26
Finished work will be picked up the following week on 7/2-7/3

Time: Thursdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm OR
Fridays from 10:00am to 12:00pm

Location: Angels Gate Cultural Center, Building F

What’s Included:

- Studio equipment including basic clay tools, slab roller, molds and templates, workspace & storage

- 25 lb bag of clay, slips, underglazes, glazes, & firing

- 5 x 2 hour long studio sessions of instruction and guidance while making work, plus 15 min clean up
